Tumbleweed is a casual raiding guild that prioritises the social aspect of the guild moreso than other things. Besides raiding we often do regular instances together, with mains or alts.
Our current raiddays are Wednesdays and Mondays starting at 20:00 server time.
Our loot rules at the moment are mostly common sense which has worked fine so far.
Guild History
The guild was created way back in the summer of 2005, when the hardrollers were rolling hard, the sun was high, and a crew of misfits were too big to fit on a single ship and needed a bigger boat. As time passed, everyone moved on to their raiding guild of choice and Tumbleweed became naught more than an alt guild.
A while before the Burning Crusade, a bunch came together again to start up a somewhat hardcore raiding guild with the experience gathered in the year of previous raiding. The guild was successful and carried on a while after the release of TBC.
At this time several people decided to go casual, some left the game altogether, and the ones who did not want to go casual went on to more hardcore guilds.
With the event of Wrath of the Lich King and 10-man dungeons, the guild started anew with the idea of having a smaller and closer group of friends raiding together and most old time members who liked the idea of 10-man raiding with a bunch of friends came back and joined up again.
During Wrath of the Lich King we killed every stinking thing possible on 10man and got drakes and special horses from everywhere except the first Naxx tier. Now we're killing stuff in Cataclysm.
