Split the old news post because it was getting a bit cluttered, so this is now the April hardmodes post!

3rd May:
Sindragosa down, 4th try of the night! Went onto LK and idled a bit to get 'Been Waiting a Long Time for This!' Just a couple raid achievements left for Glory of the Icecrown Raider, and then we will move onto the Lich King heroic. This concludes our progress in the main hardmodes, finishing as 15% buff is introduced.

27th April:
Professor Putricide down tonight in 7 tries! Fun fight. Got to 30% on the 3rd try but had a bit of a screw-up with the kiting so we all exploded or something. As usual, completely useless loot.

13th April:
Finally came back to Saurfang, after forced parties, ISP disconnects and called off raids to kill him. Server conspired against us as usual with teleporter DC's and broken login servers but got there in the end.

Glory of the Icecrown Raider (10) complete!

After finishing Sindragosa heroic & the LK mount achievement last reset, we came back today for Deathwhisper, Sindragosa and Rotface.

Sorry but fuck you Blizzard for the Sindragosa fight. Literally the worst one we have ever done in WotLK, and that's something after the pile of reeking horse manure that was Trial of the Crusader.

ICC has been interesting and certainly more challenging than Ulduar was, but doesn't come anywhere near close to the level of fun. That aside, congratulations to everyone for their new drakes which look cool as shit. Now all that remains is to farm gear for a couple of weeks until the 20% buff hits, and it's time to go up against Arthas heroic.

Little notes of thank you to Kwan for sticking with us for so long even after burning out, and for our healers too.

Downed Lord Marrowgar, Lady Deathwhisper (first try for a supposed hard one?), Gunship (this is just a fucking loot pinata) and almost Saurfang.

After an evening of solid work on Arthas, without people going off to weddings or Vegas, the perfect try occurred with Brynlaw dropping down to 12 health at one point. Sweet. Best fucking fight rush for all of wotlk and an awesome fight overall. A fitting end to the expansion.
Heroic modes up next! No fraps because it's a 10 min fight and Kwan is lazy as shit. :'(

Adrian you wanker stop cutting my screenshots out, your UI has more black boxes than an aircraft part manufacturer's store room.
Also thanks to that sweet latency fix script, goodbye 800 ms in ICC for 2/3 of us, hello to 10-20 ms!

ICC Update!

So far everything cleared without much trouble, except when Rotface had 25man settings.

Finally got to try Putricide after food poisoning, internet downtimes and such delays - and we killed him in 2 tries! Real fun bosses so far in ICC, great atmosphere. Loot however; shite.

Might wanna get some bigger boots, Sour...

Update from like the 20th: cleared Blood Queen after like 4 tries. First try second week.

Frostwing Halls cleared on 15th Feb. LK next! If we don't have more birthdays, pub-going and Valentines plans!

A Tribute to Insanity!

After ending at 49 tries last week, we finally got Insanity today! Great work everyone.

The tribute loots were Physical dps cloak for Sour and Super Horse for Fiolina.

Screenshots coming up maybe but for now imagine an achievement window where it says "A Tribute to Insanity (10 player)".

Trial of the Crusader Heroic cleared!

On Wednesday the last boss, Anub'arak, opened up in Trial of the Crusader, and after killing him we went straight onto the heroic mode!
First up was Northrend beasts which died without too much effort. Second was Jaraxxus which was almost as easy as normal-mode. The next boss however, faction champions, were a bit pumped up for heroic mode and they started countering almost every move as well as going immune faster, doing more damage, healing for more and with a really nasty combo we wasted a lot of tries there but they eventually went down. After that we killed Twin Valkyrs pretty easily as well and called it a night. We all went back the following day and worked up a bit of a sweat on Anub'arak which proved to be quite the fucking fight with some annoying mechanics (SUP LEECHING SWARM) and some fun ones that spiked Jimbelina like a cat on roast. Overall he's harder then Algalon at least.

Due to peeing pants after every kill I forgot to take any worthwhile screenshot so here's a heavily photoshopped wowwiki image of anub that's grungy as fuck and a nice cuddleparty with Tirion. Loot was some cool shit that has Heroic labels on them which is an anagram for Penis Extension and some Spellpower plate pants that Brynlaw happily took for his black hole of a healing set. Next up: Doing it again with less wipes. Woot.
And don't bother asking about fraps, Kwan recorded 19 tries but not #20. Look forward to a compilation of Jimbelina fails though set to any music except Benny Hill.

Algalon down, Ulduar cleared!

So on our third week of Algalon, we finally did it. Considering our last reset was pretty shit with everyone feeling out of it overall (READ: FIOLINA GOING TO THE FUCKING PUB DURING TRIES), we went and warmed up on One Light and moved on. Having not reached phase 2 yet, on the third try we got to 21% and wiped. A few tries followed where things went to shit generally and then it all clicked, we reached phase 2 and swept cleanly through to success and pro titles. Ulduar is now fully cleared, a day before they release the last boss of Trial.

Congratulations to Komaru for her Nebula Band, Fiolina for his cloak thing from the Dalaran event, Juno for some offspec shoulders and Jimbelina for some shitty offspec loot.

One Light in the Darkness down, Glory of the Ulduar Raider COMPLETE!

After a couple tries (two?) when we didn't get random clouds desynching, people on the phone or something else, we got Yogg down. The try started great with people hitting clouds everywhere and wandering around like tramps in the brain rooms, we got the rest of it easily with some ridiculous amount of time left on berserk. Kinda chilled through phase 3 until he was dead.

Rolled over to Razorscale for some iron dwarf fun next. Hit enrage which rocked, fight was harder than One Light really. Got raped on the way out with us all running through the Expedition Grounds being picked off one by one by 80k fireballs. Congrats to everyone for their drakes, thank you for the fine work throughout and next up, Algalon!

Update requested by Brynlaw: Algalon 56% after 1 hour of tries. Sorry guys, didn't save the world.

Firefighter, Vezax hardmode down, Algalon unlocked!

And on the second night of tries, after many tears, charred corpses and people going afk in fire to get the pizza delivery while spamming cocks in general, Mimiron hard mode is down! Congrats to everyone for their runed orbs...that was the most notable loot that dropped.

After that, we rolled down to Vezax and steamrolled the Saronite Animus in a couple of tries.
Now that all hardmode Keepers are complete, next up is One Light in the Darkness and ALGALON! Two achievements to go for the drakes!

Downed Freya's hardest mode tonight, completing Knock, Knock, Knock on Wood. Easy once we got the hang of the elder buffs. If I may mention here that it took us 35 minutes from our first try to down her. Goddamn we are amazing, like logging machines.
Loot was some shit spell power stuff nobody cared about (edit: an amazing ring that Komaru gets all hot for HOORAY IT'S THAT RING IT DROPPED). Also, I got a new cloak from Mimiron.

Hardmode shmardmode!

So after finally killing Yogg-saron we decided to start on hardmodes on this new reset. And so far so good! We did Flame Leviathan with 2 towers, although hardly fanfare worthy, it was still piss. But then we went and oneshot XT hardmode and Iron Council hardmode. Thorim hardmode however took one whole wipe but he died on the second try. I forgot to take a picture each time but 3 killshots would've been overkill (hehe) anyway so here's my recent achievement tab!

It was really fun and great work to everyone for making it so swift.
Loot was Loop of the agile for Brynlaw (item-irony right there), Fluxing Energy Coils for Nay and Mjolnir Runestone to Sour!

Update from the amazing Kligana.
Hodir hardmode downed tonight, Sunday 12th July. Took a few tries to get the hang of maxing the dps with the buffs and then down he went. Shit loot. Stat bow for Kligana and a Sigil for Juno (algalon here we come).
Tomorrow, we start Yogg-saron - watchers!
